Hi and welcome to Ask Uncle Doug. I have tried to pass along the lessons I have learned over my life to my children but they don't listen. I have the knowledge, I have the experience, I have the scars from my life. It does not matter. My kids won't listen but they will listen to their Uncle Doug. And why not, he has some great advice. That I have been saying the same things is not that important. If Uncle Doug says it, it must be true.
So in order to pass this great information along in a more organized way and to share with others we are putting it into these posts. Oh, his kids don't listen to him any more than my kids listen to me. Since it is in the blog, maybe these life lessons will get through to them as well.
